News: What is happening in the world of Madrugada and on this page? I try to stay as updated as possible, and I will try to bring you the latest rumours and facts concerning Madrugada. Of course, you will also be able to read all the interesting stuff about what has been updated or changed on this very webpage.

December 28th 2000 - Not a lot of Madrugada news lately, but I have finally had time to scan sixteen pictures shot by myself at Studentersamfunnet at Ås in Norway on November 24th 2000. I am working on a section called Madrugada Picture Gallery. Currently there are one hundred and ten picture, some of which have never been seen on the Internet, in the gallery. More will be added as soon as I have time to scan the pictures. This section will hopefully be put online in the beginning of January.

December 20th 2000 - From this day until some time early January, the main page will be a special Christmas Edition, featuring live audio files of three songs that will be on the new album, and some amazing pictures shot at a festival in France this summer.

December 18th 2000 - Just received a tape with the interview with Sivert and Jon done by Marina Lainé and Vinciane Lebrun at the Elysée Montmartre in Paris, France on November 14th, thanks to Vinciane. She transcribed most of the interview, which can be read here. In a part of the interview which was not transcribed, Jon mentions this webpage, which is cool.

December 17th 2000 - Some news about the upcoming Norwegian tour has started to surface. On Friday March 30th 2001 Madrugada will play at Rockefeller in Oslo.

The band is currently in Hoboken, New Jersey in America to mix their new album. They left for America on Monday December 11th and planned to stay for one week, meaning they will probably finish the mixing this weekend.

December 12th 2000 - This page has been online for exactly one year today. It is currently more popular than I had ever imagined it would be, although it is far from the most visited webpage in the world. During this year the page has been visited more than 12.000 times! Thanks a lot to everyone who visit and keep coming back, I appreciate the support and I will do my best to keep the page as good as possible.

December 11th 2000 - Added eight songs to the Unreleased Tracks section of the Madrugada Lyrics Section. Most of these transcriptions are taken from live versions, and they might differ from the eventual studio recordings or from other live performances.

December 10th 2000 - Another update to the Live Bootleg Recordings page, as I will receive a MiniDisc recording of the concert at Kägelbanan / The South Theatre in Stockholm, Sweden on November 23rd. Thanks to my friend Peter Carlsson for that one.

The Madrugada Lyrics Section is finally available. I have decided not to put up the lyrics for "Industrial Silence" or "limited edition" yet, along with the lyrics for the unreleased songs, as I am currently not happy with these. The lyrics are as complete as possible, but instead of guessing at the couple of missing words I have put question marks instead.

All of the lyrics have been transcribed by myself, but thanks go out to Anders Bjørgan and his Legends And Bones webpage. His lyrics might not be the most correct ones in this world, but he was the first to put up Madrugada lyrics on the Internet, and deserves credit for that.

December 9th 2000 - A page about the concert at Studentersamfunnet at Ås in Norway on November 24th 2000 has finally been added, check it out here. You might notice it is listed as a part of the Concert Reviews section, which I am currently working on to make larger and hopefully a lot better. The improved version will be up some time soon.

Some updates to The Concert Chronology and The Rare Songs FAQ sections, along with the Live Bootleg Recordings page. More will be added this week, as I finally have some free time to work on this page. Sorry about the current delay between updates.

December 2nd 2000 - I just received some truly amazing photos taken at the Mylos Club in Greece in the middle of October by Gkinis Vasilis. These will be scanned and put up on this page some time soon.

When it comes to pictures on this page, there will most likely be a lot more available in the near future. I am working to incorporate a picture section to The Concert Chronology and make pictures from as many concerts as possible available. This takes a lot of time, though.
