News: What is happening in the world of Madrugada and on this page? I try to stay as updated as possible, and I will try to bring you the latest rumours and facts concerning Madrugada. Of course, you will also be able to read all the interesting stuff about what has been updated or changed on this very webpage.

"Blood Shot Adult Commitment" UK-only single
"Blood Shot Adult Commitment" will be released as a UK-only single on September 20th by MFN/BMG. B-sides are unknown at the moment.

Frode Jacobsen as producer
Madrugada's Frode Jacobsen has co-produced four songs on the forthcoming self-titled Savoy record. The songs "Empty Of Feeling," "Whalebone," "Shooting Spree" and "Rain On Your Parade" have been produced by Jacobsen and Savoy. "Whalebone" has been released as a radio-only promo single in Norwa. John Agnello, who produced and mixed "The Nightly Disease," and Head, who produced and mixed "Grit," have also mixed some of the tracks on the Savoy album. In addition, Madrugada's Robert Burås plays 'wild guitar' on the song "Rain On Your Parade." Thanks to Raymond Hauger for the information.
Additionally, Frode Jacobsen is apparently producing the new Furia album. This is just a rumour that was posted by a user of the message board at the
official Furia page, and has yet to be confirmed.

Milestone Refinery
Former Madrugada-drummer Jon Lauvland Pettersen's new band, Milestone Refinery (previously known as Long Range Desert Group) released their debut album, "Citric Love," yesterday. It can be ordered online through
Free Record Shop, and surely other places too. Be sure to check it out.
Those who understand Norwegian can read more about the band at their
official website. Those who do not understand Norwegian should go there anyway just to watch their brand new
video, which was filmed in Asmara, Eritrea, and looks fabulous.

Some updates
There has been some time since the last update, my apologies for that.
The Concert Chronology has been updated with setlists and information from some of the concerts this Summer, make sure you check it out. Madrugada will perform four concerts in England from August 27th to September 1st, anyone who is able to go should make sure they do not miss these. Two of them are at the prestigious Leeds and Reading festivals, one is as support for Melissa Auf Der Maur in Nottingham and one is the band's own concert at Camden Barfly in London. Expect to hear lots of new material. For the Barfly concert it is suggested by the band's management to order tickets (which can be done
here) as quickly as possible, as the concert is expected to sell out soon.
There have been some other small changes around the page, I am trying to go through most of the sections and update where needed. I have added an
Articles & Interviews section, feel free to
send me links that are not listed there.
Links / Contact has been updated, unfortunately even more Madrugada fansites have gone dead and have been removed from the list, but I have added some official pages and e-mails for whoever needs to get in touch with those involved with the band. In addition to that, a section with information about the next Madrugada album will be put up shortly.
Make sure you check out
